Installing the New Microsoft Edge Stable for Mac: A Review

As a user, I'm still fuming that Microsoft added an extension to my MS Edge browser without asking my permission, even though it was disabled by default. However, installing the new Microsoft Edge Stable 114.0.1823.67 on my Mac has been a relatively smooth experience.

For those who may not know, Microsoft Edge is built on top of Chromium, which shares its core with other popular web browsers like Google Chrome, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, and more. This means that users can expect similar performance and functionality across these browsers.

One of the primary reasons I installed MS Edge was to have a second browser for testing purposes.
